Technical Specifications
Text Message Server
runs as a set of Services on a basic Windows NT/2000 Server with
events logged in the NT/2000 Event queue. Server specs are those
for a standard NT/2000 OS install, clients must be Windows 9x/XP/NT/2000.
The software will be
installed by one of our trained analysts and is usually completed
within a day. Client access is easy to achieve and can be instantaneous
if using the SMTP email interface; otherwise, the native client
may be deployed remotely.
*Important*
- at least one fully operational spare COM port per modem should
be available via serial cable connection.
The system is supplied
with a unique WavCom GSM modem and can process a message in less
than 7 seconds. If you don't wish to use the supplied modem a
number of other GSM devices are also supported.
