File shredder utility - permanently delete files

Shred-It allows the PC or Laptop user to permanently delete files or documents. When files or documents are normally deleted, the data is placed in the "Recycle Bin" but not actually deleted from the hard drive. The user has to empty the "Bin" to supposedly delete the data from the "Bin". However the data on a PC or Laptop is not actually deleted until other data actually overwrites the same disk surface. The data can still be retrieved. When a file is deleted using Shred-It, the data is deleted permanently and cannot ever be retrieved.
