
EMAIL
RELAY enables all users to be easily connected to Email
services. Messages can be delivered as fax, telex or Email, depending
on the facilities available within the Email service. Also RELAY's
flexible script language is adaptable to any service.
INCOMING MESSAGES
Incoming messages are retrieved from the service provider
and distributed automatically to the intended recipient's mailbox.
Users are then informed by RELAY when a message has been delivered.
MESSAGE CONFIRMATION
Messages can be delivered simply as Email or alternatively
converted for delivery by fax or telex, provided that they are
supported by the service provider.
CONFIRMATIONS
If the service provider has the facility to inform RELAY
that the message has been successfully delivered to the intended
recipient, RELAY will route this confirmation back to the originator.
AUDIT TRAIL & RECORDING
All events and communications are logged by the system
to provide an audit trail and means of tracing the history by
its unique log number.
EMAIL GATEWAY
RELAY Email gateway provides the link between internal
Email and external Value Added Networks, such as Mercury Multimessage,
BIMCOM and AT&T Mail. A full list of Email services which
can be used is available on request.
